Nikki has experienced, first hand, the healing power of yoga. After years of competitive sports, she began to suffer from injuries and chronic pain. Every activity caused pain and that started taking its toll on her overall well-being. After trying medications and physical therapy for many years without much relief, she decided to give yoga a try. She wanted to be on a path that would empower her to take control of her own health and well-being. With consistent practice, the resulting relief was so profound, she knew she had to share this natural healing modality with others and began her training to become a certified yoga instructor.
For Nikki, the physical healing of the practice was powerful, but yoga gave her much more than that. Yoga taught her to calm her mind, live in the present moment and truly appreciate the world around her. This gift she will always treasure and it is her passion to guide others to this calmer, more peaceful way of living in an often chaotic world.
Thanks to yoga, Nikki can now spend her free time teaching, hiking, biking, riding horses, walking her many rescue dogs, and most importantly, spend time with family joyfully, while feeling strong and pain- free.
