Jess has been practicing yoga both on and off the mat since 2010. From the start, what
resonated most about the physical practice is the sense of returning to self and restored
wholeness. As a chronic over-thinker, she has found relief in these practices, coming home to
the body and enjoying the sense of being grounded, letting go of any need to be any different
than how she’s showing up right here, right now. She became curious about yoga beyond the
physical practice and attended 200hr yoga teacher training in 2015. She really enjoyed and
appreciated this opportunity to go deeper into the practice, learning the philosophy and history.
After moving to Colorado in 2021, she went on to complete 300hr training with a therapeutic
focus. She is humbled to now have to opportunity to offer heart-centered therapeutic
approaches for healing both mind and body. With empathy and a trauma-informed lens, she
aims to support clients as they find their way home through embodiment practices such as
mindful breath, somatic movement, and gentle postures. In her free time, Jess enjoys reading,
exploring Colorado, and spending time with family and friends.
