Yoga can empower individuals physically, mentally, and emotionally. And with some curiosity and openness, it can have lasting benefits that run deep.
While working with an organization for the end of violence against women, Cole regularly witnessed the disconnect that women experiencing physical abuse sometimes have from their bodies. This disconnect is what spurred Cole’s intrigue in the physical body’s place in supporting trauma recovery. So began her journey with Trauma-Sensitive Yoga. Since then she has studied with trauma-informed teachers such as Janine D'Anniballe, Hala Khouri, and Nancy Candea.
