Mindful movement with breath is one doorway to a life of less struggle and more ease, mentally and physically. Jen’s own therapeutic connection to the practice of yoga is what inspires her to guide others to find a similar sense of freedom. Having close veteran friends and seeing first hand the possible effects of service has motivated her to connect with this amazing community. She is honored to learn from and to serve this population.
With a degree in Kinesiology, Jen has always appreciated movement science, which she weaves into every class. But when combined with the softer, more meditative aspects of the practice, yoga truly becomes medicinal. Being a body nerd means the learning never ends, however, her current certifications include Yoga Medicine 200 CYT, Yoga Biomechanics 300 CYT as well as Warriors at Ease Level 1.
